KGRC Member Work Day – May 6, 2023

We are less than four weeks away from Opening Day at KGRC!  With the weather getting warmer, we are all looking forward to getting back to the pool and into the water. The pool is now clean and will be ready for swimmers soon! We are almost ready to go, but there is still work to do. We are planning our Member Work Day for Saturday, May 6th, so we can all work together to get the club ready for summer!

We have tasks for all ages and abilities including planting flowers, weeding, mulching, and more. Among the list of things to get done is the perfect job for you!  For our early bird volunteers, we’ll have coffee and pastry from Café Kindred to help make the work go faster!

Please come anytime between 8am – Noon! (No sign-up is needed this year!) The work is divided into small 30 minute jobs. We will work with you to select tasks as you arrive, based on your preferences and the work remaining to be done.

Member Work Day is a great way to see your pool friends again, meet new ones, and help to make sure that your pool looks great for the start of the season. A lot of work has been done to get ready for the season, and we appreciate everyone coming together to help with the final preparation.
