Early Renewal for 2025 is Open!
At our recent Annual General Meeting, the KGRC Board of Directors and membership welcomed a new Board member, and the Board provided a report on the Club’s finances, membership, and our renovation planning efforts. We appreciate all the members who joined the discussion (and those who sent in their proxy too)! Below, we are sharing the details for renewing your membership for 2025, including the deadline for early renewal and updated fees for 2025, and a summary of the update on our ongoing renovation planning process shared at the meeting and with members via email.
We are excited to let you know that Early Renewal for the 2025 season is now open!
During the early-bird renewal period, which ends on January 15, a Regular Membership renewal is $825 and a Senior Membership renewal is $412.
After January 15, a Regular Membership renewal will be $900 and a Senior Membership renewal will be $450.
Between March 1 and the renewal deadline of March 15, your membership will still be guaranteed, but a late renewal fee will be applied.
The Guaranteed Renewal Deadline is March 15, after which your renewal is not guaranteed and the option to renew will not automatically be available. We will begin to offer membership to our longest-ever wait list, and you will be placed back on the list if you are still interested in renewing.
KGRC Regular (including Inactive members) and Senior members will also pay a $150 Capital Improvement fee. This ensures that the club is saving for major improvements that will benefit all of us. You’ll see this fee added to your membership total when you log in to your account.
Ready to renew? Visit the membership portal at by logging in above.
Other Membership Updates
As a reminder, we no longer offer new Senior Memberships (please note, all current Senior members maintain that membership option).
We have also made changes to the Dolphin Membership, which may be a good fit for some families:
- Requirement of 10 years of Regular membership
- Maximum of two household members per Dolphin account
- Each Dolphin account will have access to 50 visits per season
- Cost per Dolphin account will increase to $250
- Reminder that Dolphin accounts do not convey voting privileges, and that Dolphins are not eligible for the Swim or Dive teams
Please take a moment to verify all of your account information and make any updates or edits to your family’s details when you log in to renew. Note that we are no longer accepting payment via check, which will significantly ease membership administration. If you have any questions or need assistance with any changes please feel free to contact our Membership Director.
Renovation Planning Update
At the Annual General Meeting, the Board shared an update on the ongoing Renovation Planning Committee efforts. As discussed in a May 2023 letter to the membership, our 1950s-era pool is beyond its estimated useful life and is in need of major renovations in the near-future to ensure KGRC’s future. Building on the membership survey results compiled in summer 2023, and taking into account extensive discussions with architects, pool builders, other pools in the region, and financial considerations, our Renovation Planning Committee has made significant progress in the design of our pool renovation in the past 12 months. Once we are able to finalize the design, we will move forward with formal design and engineering drawings, permit applications, and detailed cost estimates. Our timeline and costs are uncertain at this stage, and we will provide additional details as we move through the process.
Additional information about the renovation planning process, including information about the special assessment likely to be required as part of the financing process, is located on the Renovation Planning page on our website.
The Board welcomes your input on renovation planning and other matters. We are always looking for volunteers to get involved, so if you have ideas you’d love to run with, please reach out to any Board Member.
