– Games & Annual Coin Toss – 1:00-3:00pm
– 3rd Annual Cardboard Regatta – 3:00pm
– Dog Swim – 6:30-7:30pm
Cardboard Regatta:
Calling all crews to the deck! KGRC’s 3rd Annual Cardboard Regatta will be held on Monday, Labor Day, Sept 4th. Anchors aweigh at 3pm. Please sign up — click here to register! Check out the boat-building specs and race rules here.
Dog Swim:
Bring your pup at 6:30pm on Monday 9/4 to let Fido take a dip. Once the pool closes and the lifeguards have cleared the pool and deck of human swimmers, the canine bunch can take to the water. Only bring your dog if it is properly vaccinated and “plays well with others.” Check out the complete rules here, where you can also print/sign the release form to get you and your doggo through the entrance and into the pool faster! Also, there will not be a lifeguard on duty so, of course, the swimming is just for the pups.
Finally, as you start filling in your Fall calendars, please pencil in Wednesday, September 27 at 7PM, as the tentative date for our Annual General Meeting, where we will report on the season and hold Board elections. We are always looking for volunteers to get involved, whether by joining the Board or serving on a committee, so if you have ideas you’d love to run with, please reach out to any Board Member (we’re often at the pool!) or directly to president@kentgardens.org.
See you at the pool!
